I've Been Adopted!

UPDATE - 31 OCTOBER 2015: Willow is such a wonderful puppy! She still needs to be taken outside to do her business at night before bedtime and again in the morning, but she's getting easier. She loves to play with toys and our dog Daisy, a lot of running & wrestling! She is getting better at walking on a leash.

Willow sleeps in the bed, not the crate (definitely not crate-trained!) loves to cuddle and give face kisses.

Willow has some separation anxiety, but because we seem to always have someone at home, we don't know just how bad it might be. We also have our 2 dogs to keep her company.

Willow is sooo adorable and hard to resist! Such a cutie pie!

16 SEPTEMBER 2015: Willow has now been spayed, and she is fully vetted and ready for her foster or forever home!  She weighs 17 pounds, is in good health, and estimated by the vet to be 6 months old. Willow is a super sweet little girl. If she doesn't know you, she is a little submissive/shy when you first meet her but is full of puppy kisses afterward!

1 SEPTEMBER 2015: Willow is a lovely little girl who, at 4 months old, has already had a rough start. She was found in a dumpster in rural Virginia.  The good news: things are looking up for her! She's with BREW now and we're searching for a great home for her!

She's not good on a leash - but that's no surprise. We're confident she'll pick it up pretty quickly.

Willow will be available once her vetting is completed. Don't delay if you're interested in her! Get that application in!

  1. Will Willow be at any adoption event on Nov. 14? And if so, where?
    Please let me know.
We’ve had beagles before & adore them.
    Thank you!

Hi, Paula – Our next adoption event is on November 21st and will be at the Manassas, VA PetValu. Please check back mid-week to see which dogs are expected to attend. Their profiles will be marked. Thank you for your interest!

  2. Is Willow available to adopt? Will she be at any of the adopt-a-beagle days?

Hi, Noah – Willow is currently available for adoption. Our next adoption event is about a month away, so we do not yet have a list of dogs who will be attending, but I would encourage you to take a look at our adoption process (HERE) and fill out an application if you would like to get the process started. Dog who are expected to attend events are marked on their pages several days prior to the event. Thanks for your interest!

  3. I would like to help with the rescue day at Franklin Park if I can. I am a BREW adopter who lives in Purcellville! 🙂

Hi, Kathy – I have passed you offer onto our event coordinator, Linda, so she can follow up with you. I’m sure she’d love the help!
