I've Been Adopted!

NEW - 03 JUNE 2018:  Tim is a small, 5 year old energetic boy who was an owner give up because the owner was too busy and could not give him the attention and affection he craves. He is fully vetted and is loving life at his new foster home with new foster siblings.  Here is what his new foster mom has to say about Tim's first day with her:  "Tim arrived at his foster home today directly from his former owner’s home. He was greeted by the four other resident dogs (including BREW beagles Preacher and Harley) and the one brave resident cat. Tim fell right in with the crowd and seemed to enjoy the company from the start. He does like to be with people, jumping the baby gate to get to us. He’s explored the toy box but hasn’t had a chance to get out in the yard and run! Tim is a small guy and really cute. And while it’s too early to know about house training, we’ve had no accidents so far."

  1. I am interested in Tim, Chesney, Deana, Diva, and Petunia. I lost my girl who was 16 about a year and a half ago, and am starting to look for a new companion. I have had Shepherds, but I am looking for a smaller, less agile doggie at this point. I also have a brand new grand baby so it would have to be great with children. I am looking for the right fit. Beagles are floppy and loving. What could you tell me about any of these pups? Could I visit? Location in reference to Fredericksburg? Thank you for your time.

Hi Karen – We’re so sorry to hear about your loss, but thank you for thinking about adopting another pup! Our beagles come in all sizes and personalities. Our fostered beagles are mostly located in Northern Virginia and Maryland, so they are not too far from you. The best way to find out more about specific beagles is to fill out an application so that we can assign one of our volunteers to work with you directly. You can find our Standards of Adoption and application at: http://www.brewbeagles.org/brew-adoption-process/. If you are available to take a drive to Ellicott City, MD, on June 16th, we are having an adoption event where you could meet a bunch of our beagles. Petunia and Tim are both supposed to be there. We hope you can come!
