Clarence

Available Soon!

Age: 3-4 years

Clarence is scheduled to come to BREW on July 26th! This 3- to 4-year-old, small (about 15 pounds!) beagle boy came into the King William, Virginia shelter as a stray, so his history is unknown. 22 JULY 2014: Buddy is an adorable beagle boy with five years of pet experience under his belt. He was originally adopted from BREW in 2009 and has recently come back to the rescue. Buddy is moving into a foster home soon (the same one as in 2009), so stay tuned for more information once he’s settled in!

Snoopy

I’m Available!

Age: 1 year

Gender: Male

14 JULY 2014: Snoopy has recently moved into his foster home. He is a typical one year old with lots of energy.  Snoopy knows basic commands, sit, out, stay, and shake, and walks well on lead.  He does well with other dogs but can be annoying, as he insists on playing most of the time.  Because he plays rough, I don’t think he’d do well with cats, but he has not been put to the test.  He seems to enjoy snuggling with foster sister, Elsie, though (see photo below)! More to come as he settles in!

Elsie

Adoption Pending!

Age: 1.5 years

Gender: Female

UPDATE – 14 JULY 2014: Elsie is in her foster home and doing well.  She needs work on housetraining and is very shy.  She has been in her foster home for a week and is just starting to warm up.  Other than that…she’s 16.2 lb of absolute cuteness!!! (She also seems to be getting along with her foster brother, Snoopy – see them snuggling in one of the photos below!)

Original info: Elsie is an approximately 1.5-year-old, small, petite female who weighs around 17 pounds.  She is extremely sweet and gentle but can be a little reserved and cautious at times.  She came in as stray in Amelia County, Virginia wearing cute little decorative collar, so she was probably someone’s pet but whether she was a house pet or not is unknown.  She also takes her time eating her dinner.  She is scheduled for vetting on Wednesday, June 11th and will be available for adoption soon thereafter!

Ronnie

I’ve Been Adopted!

Age: 16 weeks (10 May 2014)

Gender: Female

UPDATE – 8 May 2014: She is small, but such a love bug!  She is proficient with the doggy door and working on her house training.  Ronnie loves to play will toys and dogs and snuggle with people.

There is no question about it, The Rolling Stones puppies are full bred beagles.  Ronnie is TINY, but she is a spitfire and full of energy.  She may be the smallest, but she can outlast all of her brothers every time.  She loves to be held but she also runs around like a maniac.  She is cute as can be, but don’t forget, little or not, she is still lots of work.

If you are interested in any of the “Rolling Stones” puppies, please submit an adoption application. Please note that we get A LOT of applications for puppies so your application MUST be accompanied by the $15 application fee. We strongly recommend that you submit that fee via Paypal to avoid delays!

Keith

I’ve Been Adopted!

Age: 16 weeks (10 May 2014)

Gender: Male

UPDATE – 8 May 2014: Keith is getting so big!  Pretty mellow for a puppy.  He is great with going potty outside and uses the doggy door.  He loves to play with our dogs and his sister.  He sleeps well in his crate, even for naps during the day.

There is not question about it, The Rolling Stones puppies are full bred beagles.  Keith is a curious guy.  He is always checking things out and looking for an adventure.  His favorite thing to do is to “hide” in the ivy.

If you are interested in any of the “Rolling Stones” puppies, please submit an adoption application. Please note that we get A LOT of applications for puppies so your application MUST be accompanied by the $15 application fee. Delaney

I’ve Been Adopted!

Age: 3 years

Gender: Female

QUICK UPDATE – 27 MARCH 2014: They have only recently moved into a foster home, but Delaney’s foster mom reports that she and her sister, Colleen are very sweet, seem to be house-trained, and are cat-tested and approved!

Original info: Delaney is a 25 pound lass. She is tri-color, 3 years old. She came to BREW from Lexington, VA. She is instantly friendly when approached by people. This is a good thing because she is a people magnet. Everybody just wants to pet her and get her attention. She likes the attention and gently wags her tail throughout. She gets along with other dogs, and travels well. Delaney would be a shoe-in for Miss Congeniality if it weren’t for her rescue partner, Colleen. Between the two of them, it is a photo-finish, probably a tie.
