I've Been Adopted!Snoopy

Age: 1 year

Gender: Male

2 AUGUST 2014: Need help watching what you eat?  Snoopy's the pup to help you.  His creative begging will have you watch what you eat 🙂

He's settled in his foster home now and his personality is showing!  A one year old pup that thinks he's 5 months old.  He is medium energy and LOVES to play.  Trustworthy outside the crate....housebroken and doesn't chew anything except the stuffing in soft toys.  He has run of the house now. I've baited him with shoes left out and he hasn't touched them.  He knows basic commands and gives great hugs.  He's a real character to have around and well-behaved.  I recommend a house without cats.   He does play rough so he'd have to be watched around small children as he may knock them over.  He's also a very good watchdog. He's alert and gives out a great AAARRROOOO!

14 JULY 2014: Snoopy has recently moved into his foster home. He is a typical one year old with lots of energy.  Snoopy knows basic commands, sit, out, stay, and shake, and walks well on lead.  He does well with other dogs but can be annoying, as he insists on playing most of the time.  Because he plays rough, I don't think he'd do well with cats, but he has not been put to the test.  He seems to enjoy snuggling with foster sister, Elsie, though (see photo below)! More to come as he settles in!

    Has Snoopy been adopted?

    • Erin

Hi, Jim – yes, Snoopy has been adopted. In this case, the “pending” probably refers to filing the paperwork on our end. BREW does have quite a few other, slightly older dogs in the 2-3 year-old range. Thanks for your interest!

I’m interested in seeing Snoopy. How would I go about doing that? I’ve rescued a beagle before and he recently passed away. I would love to see Snoopy and learn more about him. Please contact me.

      Sandy,

Please fill out the adoption application on our website. Once we receive that and the app fee, we’ll have a BREW rep contact you for a phone interview. It’s during that convo where you can be put in touch with the foster family. Thanks!

I met Snoopy a week ago! He is absolutely adorable. As his foster wrote, he is a 1 year old beagle who acts like a 5 month old puppy. Snoopy loves life, loves playing, and loves people. He will sit in your lap and enjoy being loved on. This is a great beagle who will grow up to be a wonderful guy. Please go meet him.

He is just adorable. And it sure sounds like he is just pure puppy! He only needs a home where he will get enough play time, exercise, and love to grow into the wonderful adult beagle he will become. Paws crossed Snoopy finds his perfect forever home.
