A Perfect Match for Blue's Clue
Nancy Kauder

Blue's Clue came to BREW from a sad situation in Pennsylvania -- he was kept as an outside dog by a family that didn't really take care of him and when they moved, they just left him. Losing sight in one eye, he also had an inflamed third eyelid that eventually required four rounds of surgery to fix. Blue was adopted at age 7 by a vetrinarian, her husband, their little girl, a basset hound, and the resident cat. Here's an update from his new family:

"Blue's Clue" is doing quite well! We call him Blue now. We moved to a bigger house with a 1/3 acre lot (from a townhouse in downtown Baltimore), so Blue is really living it up out there in the yard! He hunts - what we call the "invisible squirrels" - as he will run around in the yard for over an hour, with his nose to the ground and howling every 5-6 steps. Otherwise, he's inside snoozing inside on his dog bed.. A few weeks ago, we adopted a cat from the animal shelter. Blue was the first to be welcoming to our newest addition (our basset and other cat have come around finally.)

Thank you for taking care of Blue before he came to live with us. He really has a heart of gold.
