Daisy went to the Rainbow Bridge on August 26, 2002.

It is with the saddest of hearts that I write this.

Daisy was a BREW New England beagle rescued from a research lab where she spent the first 8+ months of her life. Daisy escaped from temporary care and was out in the world on her own. Unfortunately, a man who worked for the Mass Highway Department found her the day that she was lost. She never had a chance trying to cross 3 lanes of traffic on I-93. He buried her and luckily had saved her collar and harness and put them in the back of his truck. A few days later, he saw her poster on the wall of his office and knew immediately that must have been the little dog he had picked up.

I know you will think the kindest of thoughts for Daisy and may you find peace knowing that she is now with wonderful company at the rainbow bridge. Many thanks to her foster mom, friends, and BREW volunteers who searched tirelessly for Daisy.

May her spirit run free knowing that she was loved by so many.
