Farrah was an early foster beagle for us. We sent her off to her forever home, where she was very loved. Sadly, as she got older, she started having accidents and the family took her to the vet to find out why. The vet tried a solution that ended up not working. So, Farrah was sent back to BREW.

Our vet found many heath issues - a non-functioning thyroid and a liver out of whack. We treated the thryoid, but the liver ended up being the real issue. Poor Farrah's liver grew at an astonishing rate and, after being with us for about 4 months, started to suffer. We couldn't have that, so we let her go, preceeded by a  restful sleep complete with beagle-y snores,  gently to the Bridge.

Farrah was always "the happiest dog in the world". She didn't think anyone was a stranger. She was gentle and always sweet. The vet, who worked so hard to save her, said Farrah was the most accomodating dog she had seen. Farrah never objected to anything done to her. She remained good humored and sweet to her last minute.

I'm sorry we got to share her last minutes, rather than her adopters. But, that was their choice and our honor. Farrah was given a great life by BREW and I know she thanks everyone at BREW.
