We adopted “Stumpy” about 7 months ago, and wanted to send the great folks at BREW an update!

If you went to Beaglefest, you probably saw Stumpy. His new name is “Jinx” and he’s taken to it very well.

We figured that if he’d lost his job and his home, and he’d been born without a tail…maybe he was “jinxed” !!

There’s not too many tail-less beagles, so if you saw one at Beaglefest, that was our boy.

He’s crazy about his brother Buddy (another rescued beagle), and the two of them play constantly…when they’re not napping or patrolling the windows for invading critters in the yard. Jinx was a little heavy when we got him (36 lbs), but a light food diet and regular exercise has brought his weight down to a just-right 30 lbs. He looks great and is in great shape according to our vets.

The Jinxster is a constant source of love and smiles. He’s very sweet and an exceptional cuddler. We are so very happy to have him and to have helped him become a happy, healthy young beagle.

Thanks once again to BREW for all that you do to help these great dogs and also the help and advice you offer to the people who want them. We’re now beagle people for life, and we’ll continue to support BREW’s efforts to bring good people and great dogs together!
