The Bieber Family
(Nathan, Joelle, Corinne, Twix "Buddy", and Benson "Benny")

Our family had been wanting to add another addition to the family for a while but when I gave birth to our daughter, we decided to wait until our daughter was a little bit older before adopting a dog. We already have a 2 year old male beagle named Twix "Buddy" who loves to be around other dogs and overall is just a great family dog. We decided to apply to BREW when our daughter was 9 months old. We knew we wanted a dog that was good with other dogs and was also great with children. We weren't sure how long the process would take because we wanted to find a dog that would fit in "perfectly" with our family. Shortly after applying to BREW, I received an email about Dustin. Dustin was being fostered with a young child and was excellent with other dogs. So, we set up a time to meet Dustin and brought the entire family to visit. It was love at first sight, and him and Twix hit it off immediately. We decided to adopt the little guy on the spot. On the ride home, we did not hear one peep from him. Once we got him to our house, the two boys (Twix and Dustin) instantly became best friends. We have changed Dustin's name to Benson and we call him "Benny". Buddy and Benny are inseperable and they sleep and play together all of the time. Benson has been such a great addition to the family and I can't imagine our lives without him. He is the sweetest, most gentle dog and is so loveable and has the cutest howl. He is learning the ropes on how to be an indoor family dog but is very willing to please, so I do not think it will take him long to adjust. I tell everyone that my mom (passed away four years ago) dropped him down from heaven to be with our family. He is truly a gift that we are blessed to have and love him more and more everyday. We truly believe he was meant to join our family and look forward to spending many years with our two beagle boys.
