Rusty at the end of the Rainbow

I have to share something with you that made my night, and sealed my decision about adopting Rusty. We hit some heavy rain when we got on the expressway. It was really dark and ominous. Once we got on 422 around Oaks it stopped raining and the sky was bright and the sun was shining. All of a sudden I saw the most gorgeous rainbow I think I have ever seen. And, I saw this rainbow all the way to around the Pottstown area, about fifteen-twenty minutes. I've never seen a rainbow last that long. I have no doubts God provided that rainbow just for me as a sign that adopting Rusty was the right thing to do. It gave me such a deep peace that I can't explain or put into words. In case you haven't been able to tell, I am a person of deep religious/spiritual faith, so I truly believe this was a sign from God!!

Well, Rusty and I will continue to keep in touch and keep you updated on how the transition is progressing. Thank you so much for all you have done to help me learn about Rusty and how to care for him. I know we both have his best interest at heart. And, most of all, thank you for all the time, love, and care you and John have poured into this little guy!!! Rusty was very fortunate to have the wonderful foster family you guys provided for him. As a result, I think I am getting the best of Rusty, and for that I owe you a debt I could never repay.
