Here is a "happy ending"

photo illustrating the good things that can happen to rescued beagles and their people. My beagle Millie and I were trained and tested together for her to become a certified therapy dog. We were successful and now make weekly visits to patients, staff, and visitors at Inova Fairfax Hospital. It is the highlight of our week, and I think it's safe to say that Millie loves it as much as the many people she sees. She gets plenty of attention and tummy rubs, and can even bring a smile to the face of a critically ill patient!
