Can you make room in your home for this fun-loving beagle boy? Just consider him a beagle "toddler"...no apartments-Mac definately needs a fenced yard to get his exercise time in!  Favorite things are belly rubs and chew toys. Mac's specialty is giving kisses!

Dear Diary:

Sorry I haven't written in so long, but lots of things have happened over the last few months!

October 2003:
I went to Beaglefest with lots of my cousins and I met a nice couple from Virginia Beach. Let's just say, I had them at "Howl-o." No matter how many other beagles they looked at, they kept coming back to me. They let me lose the dreaded yellow bandana, and away we went. They have a nice house and a big back yard, but that's a darn fool place to put a fish pond, 'cause I fell in it twice. They think I don't know what "No" means, ha ha. And, what is the deal with the holiday where strangers ring your doorbell and you give them treats? More importantly, how can I get in on this?!

November:
I have my own bed but I prefer the big bed The Lady and The Mister sleep in. I can sit, freeze, and lay down. They call me "Trip" because I'm their third beagle but I think it's because they traveled a long way to get me. The Mister says I am really well behaved and The Lady says she's glad whoever had me before housebroke me and that I am remembering this.

December:
Lesson: 1. Don't pee in the house. 2. Okay to pee on a tree outside. 3. What about the tree in the house?? So-far-so-good, anyway. I got lots of treats 'n stuff wrapped in paper that I could tear open.

January:
I don't really like venetian blinds, but I like chasing the squeakie-ball up and down the hallway. I learned how to open the screen door and let myself in, and my People are really proud of me. I am forgetting the bad things that happened to me when I was little and I love snuggling up on the couch with my People.

February:
I love to zoom around the back yard and The Lady says I run faster than a cartoon dog, whatever that means.

March:
We've had some warm days and I get to go to the park and go down the sliding board. The Mister says that Beaglefest is coming up soon, and I'll get to go and show off my new people to my cousins. Maybe if we're lucky, we'll find me a playmate!

Thanks, BREW, for putting us together!
Trip (the beagle formerly known as Fred)
