Day 9 - Day of rest? For whom?? Beagle Camp is officially Camp Chaos PDF Print E-mail

Day Nine, Morning - Day of Rest? For whom?? Beagle Camp is officially Camp Chaos. Sullivan has found an escape route from the barricaded kitchen, and I haven't figured out how he's doing this yet. He's outside the barricade again this morning. He's one intrepid adventurer, that's for sure. I put him back in the kitchen, and walk around the corner. He starts making his move. He works his way up the barricade, and pushes against the baby gate - he's making it over the barricade through sheer determination. At least now I know where I need to reinforce the barricade to keep him in the kitchen. I am reluctant to crate them together because of the snarling, snapping, growling and pooping that will invariably happen if I do that.

The kittens are creating the havoc I know they would and would have liked to avoid, but, since they're here, there's not much I can do about it. I herd all seven dogs outside - my neighbor's son yells "Release the hounds!" as they all go pouring out the back door. He doesn't know the half of it.

The kittens are supposed to be gone on Monday, but I'm not holding my breath.
