Wrigley

Wrigley is an ten-year (possible) basset mix. He has a beautiful, shiny coat and an expressive face that normally has him looking a little puzzled. He is an owner surrender due to medical difficulties, but he has been loved his entire life.

In the six months he’s been in his foster home he has lost ten pounds and 10 teeth. He’s quite lively now and loves his food, toys; especially rawhide knotted bones and his creature comforts. He has an unusual howl – seen here “singing for his supper” He is generally quiet except when I’m not quick enough getting him his meals, he thinks we’re leaving, or he’s concerned another dog is after his food or toys. He can “dance” on his hind legs for quite a period of time also. He is not overly demonstrative, but likes to be where you are. He’s happy to give up the comfy couch in favor of the hard kitchen or laundry room floor if that means he can hang out with you. He sleeps at the foot of the bed, but at exactly at 4am – he comes to the head and “asks” to be let under the covers where he spends the rest of the night. Although not generous with kisses himself, he’ll sit for hours letting you hug, kiss and love him up. Please let BREW know if Wrigley would be a fit for your home.
