Ross

I am available for adoption!

Age: 9 years young

Gender: Male

Adoption Day Info:

What’s that at the end of the rainbow you see??? Not gold! It’s something better, why it’s ME! Well, cupid didn’t bring me a family so I’m going to try the luck-o-the Irish!

Hello! I’m Ross and I’m still anxiously waiting to find my new forever family! I’m sensing a little age discrimination here. Hmmmm. So, you may look at my age and say “oh, he’s too old!” But wait! Don’t click off my profile too fast there!! Keep reading…

My foster family tells me I’m intoxicatingly adorable! (I shan’t argue!) I’m very sweet and cuddly. I’m a super friendly guy and I seem to always be happy! I’m nine years young and a fit 40lbs. being that I’m a little bit bigger Beagle, you’ll get more Beagle to love than one of those little 20lb whippersnappers!

I’m house trained, crate trained, and I know how to sit and walk nicely on a leash! I get along great with the resident cat so if you have a kitty that’s fine with me! For the most part I’m a couch potato and when I sleep I do snore, and pretty loudly too! (My foster family thinks it’s super cute!) I get an occasional spurt of energy and I happily bounce around with a stuffy toy in my mouth and I like to fling nylabones around the room too! I’m very appreciative if you will toss the toy around for me but, please don’t toss it too far! I don’t bark unless there is something to bark about and I don’t whine and have a fit when you leave me home. I will happily greet you with a wagging tail when you come home though and I sort of bay a “helloo-woo”! I’ve been left out of my crate occasionally when no one is home and thus far I haven’t gotten into any mischief! I don’t have to be crated at night; I have a nice comfy bed! I’m not too pushy for attention, I’m very glad to get it but, if my big sad “please pet me look” is declined I’ll just go take a nap instead! I know sometimes you are busy. My most favorite things are being petted & snuggling and COOKIES! I’m also very good about being brushed! I’ll let you brush me forever if you want to! So, if you have a nice soft bed for me to sleep on, a few toys for me to play with and lots of love to give… I hope you will consider adopting me!

Oh, and if you’d like to see a short video of me playing please go here… or, if you’d like to see a few extra pics of me you can go here… and click on my album!
