I am available for adoption!

Age: 5-6 years

Gender: Female

Adoption Day Info:

Hi, I am Sadie and my foster family found me wandering around the neighborhood. They did not want anything to happen to me, so they have taken me in until I can find a permanent home. I really cannot stay here; because there are already two other dogs and my foster parents think that is too many. I get along well with my brother and sister. My brother is a jack russell mix that is 12 years old and my sister is another beagle my age, but shorter than me. They say I am a blue beagle, whatever that means. But it makes me feel special.

I love all kinds of people, young and old and have a very good temperment. Nothing upsets me. I would love to have a family with kids, and it would be best if there was someone home during the day, because I might have an accident if there is no one to let me out. I tell them when I have to go by going to the door. I don't mind the crate, but if I am in there too long, I do have accidents.

I have a great nose, and love to eat, so make sure food is out of my reach, or I figure it is for the taking. I love long walks to spend the time smelling everything. If you leave me outside, I need to be on a tie-out or in a fenced area. I don't really bark much, except when I want to come back in the house. My foster family doesn't let any of us on the furniture, but sometimes I forget. If you do not mind, I would love to cuddle with you on the couch. I have my doggie bed that I lie in and really find it quite comfortable, but still prefer to snuggle up to someone. Sometimes my foster family will sit on the floor, just so I can snuggle. I can easily entertain myself with a toy. I like the ones that squeak.

I am really pretty smart and like to learn new things. I can sit, shake, stay and lay down. I do beg, but not annoyingly. I just sit very quietly next to you while you eat, just in case. My foster family doesn't give me anything though, but I sit patiently because you never know.

I have a very big heart and hope you find it in yours to give me a permanent home. I can be a great companion. Thanks for listening.

Love Sadie
