Roscoe

I've been adopted!

Age: 5-6 years

Gender: Male

Adoption Day Info:

Hi, I'm Roscoe. Foster mom says it's about time I tell you a little bit about myself so here it goes...I was a country dog in my former life and it took me a while to get used to the sights and sounds of the big city. At first, I jumped at every little noise and movement. I was even afraid of the sound of leaves rustling in the wind and those things the humans call wind chimes. The storm door was very scary for a long time but now I'm used to it and come in and out just like everyone else here.

According to foster mom, I am just a bunch of silly contradictions. Let me see if I can explain. I am kinda shy, especially when first meeting people but once I know them, I am very, very friendly. BREW thinks I am about 8 years old but sometimes I act like I'm a puppy. This happens most often when I first get up in the morning. I love to grab a sock out of the laundry basket and race up and down the stairs with it. Once the zoomies are done, I am ready for a day of napping either the couch or my crate, depending on whether or not foster mom is home.  I am housetrained and keep my crate clean too!

I should also let you know that I feel it is my personal duty to be the watch dog in the family. Strange noise outside? I'll let you know! My bark is not all that loud, but hey, I get an A for effort. I am very, very smart, listen well and would probably enjoy doing some obedience training. I think I would like to have a home where I can hang out and just be with the family. Not too busy, but one that would have some time to spend with me. So, if you think you'd like a silly, kinda crazy beagle mix who's very entertaining, ask BREW about me. My foster mom would love to tell you all about me.

Thanks for listening, Roscoe
