I go into my crate when no one is home and at bedtime usually without a fuss. Sometimes when my foster family leaves, I’ll whine and pretty loud too! My foster Mom says that I wouldn’t be good in an apartment because of this. It took me a while to get used to a tie out because the resident beagles don’t have to be tied up like me, but I’m used to it now. I love to explore outside…sniff, sniff, and sniff! Plus, I’ll jump up to go between these two tree trunks outside and then get stuck on the other side. Foster Dad has to come over to put me back through. I’m learning how to walk on a leash too. I’m almost house trained; but when you’re in a shelter so long…I’m working on it. Foster mom is suggesting an obedience class for me too!

Since I am a beagle and love to eat; I’m a counter surfer rookie. I usually get caught practicing; so far with no luck yet. I’m a little hog when it comes to treats because I’ll try to snatch them away from the other beags. Foster Mom is training me to learn some manners and I’m doing pretty well so far. I love to chew on Nylabones and dig belly rubs too. I’ll cuddle up to you and keep you warm!
