Edy

Hi Beagle lovers, My name is Edy, do you know why?  It’s cause I’m as sweet, if not sweeter, than even their cookies and cream ice cream.  I mean that figuratively of course, please don’t eat me, but if you are ready to trade your sense of personal space for the love of a good beagle, than I’m the girl for you.   Even though I am clingier than the leading brand of plastic wrap, I won’t smother you because I have interests of my own to pursue.   In fact, other than cuddling, I’m kind of an outdoorsy girl and my ideal family would have a fenced in backyard and maybe even a doggy door, so I can work on my rather impressive hunting skills.  I really enjoy walks too, even though foster mom doesn’t seem to understand that a beagle must follow her nose, wherever it leads her. So far, I am not shy and I love all people and all dogs.  I never, ever growl or get angry and the only noises I make are associated with my favorite hobby, hunting!  Foster mom says I have the cutest snuffle, squeak, bay combination she’s ever heard, though I think helpful is a more appropriate word to describe it.   I also love to play with toys and I have a lot of spunk in my step for a little bit older girl.  Since I am trying to sell myself, I might as well tell you, even though it makes me blush, that I am just about the cutest little package ever, short and stocky, with stubby little legs, just right for all the cuddling we will be doing.  There is only one catch and that is that I am still working on my housetraining.  I’ve made a lot of progress in the last few weeks though and now I can be trusted in the house when someone is home to let me out.   So if you have room on the couch and critters in the yard, we could live happily ever after.
