Toby

Hello Everyone,
My name is Toby. I am a young little male beagle.  My adventure started in Quincy, IL where I was caught walking around without an owner. (How do I know where they went?!) The great shelter people introduced me to the Doc who checked me out.  He said I had heartworms, but he gave me the treatment for free because I was such a "cool" beagle.  I'm all better now but I insist on having heartworm preventive medicine year round.
 
After a van ride, I found myself in Bloomington, IL and was introduced to my foster family.  I am so happy! I get to play with my dog "brothers" and lead a normal dog life. I like to start a game of chase or a good wrestling match - all in good fun!  On walks it is fun to meet other people and I am so good around the little people too (Go ahead - pull my ears!). I don’t bark much for a beagle. I know to potty outside - only one accident. My foster family tried to keep me in a crate but I out-smarted them and would find ways to escape.  Finally I proved how good I could be and they let me stay in the family room during the day ....although I have been known to chew on a sock, shoe or catalog.  I even get to snuggle up in bed with people at night. I love riding in the car - if you will drive!
 
Who will look into my sweet amber eyes and fall in love with me and request to take me home.  I could be YOUR beagle boy!!
