Available Beagles

Ember

I've been adopted!

Age: 3-4 years

Gender: Female

Adoption Day Info:

Hi everyone, my name is Ember. I am a very tiny petite beagle girl and my foster parents have never seen any beagle as tiny. And they have seen lots and lots of beagles.

When my foster mom looked up the word ember in the dictionary it says a small, dying spark. WHAT? Nothing about me is dying. I am full of life. I guess I got my name because when you think of an ember, you think of red fire or spark and I am a red and white beagle. And spark is what I do have!!! I run, roughhouse and play with the big beagles in the house. I don't have that loud beagle bark when I play, mine is more girl like and softer.

But because I am tiniest beagle my foster parents have ever seen, the first several days they had me as a foster, I almost ended up with a complex because all they did was laugh at me. Foster mom kept saying you are just so little. She says my head and body are just too cute. My head really fits into the palm of her hand. Pretty small, right? You can tell how little I am by comparing me to my foster brothers in the pictures.

Foster mom says I should tell you I am housetrained. I love to play with my foster beagle brothers. We run around the yard and chase each other. Inside we play with toys and wrestle. I love to chew on a chewee but if everyone else gets finished first, (which always happens) you have to watch me because once in awhile I might try to bury mine in the couch cushions. Hey with the big beagle boys looking over your shoulder as you are chewing you might be a little nervous too so I try to hide it for later.

I am crate trained when foster mom runs errands and at night. I go into my crate with a biscuit or a kong. Even though I don't live with any children right now, I do like to go up to children at adoption events and let them pet me. I am right at the little ones level because I am so small. Foster mom thinks I would do well in a house with children.

At night I love to sit with foster dad and let him pet me and he can unwind after a hard day at work. When I curl up on the couch, I take up hardly any room at all. I love to sit and get my pets after a long day of playing.

So if you are looking for a beautiful mini-beagle full of fun and love, contact BREW about me.
