Lola

Hi! I’m Lola and I'm still here waiting (patiently) for my new forever family. My previous bio said I was a big beautiful tri-color beagle, weighing in at 55 pounds. I am still a beautiful beagle but you can take out the 'big' & the 'weighing in at 55 pounds' part because I have been losing weight in my new foster home! And guess what? I have a waist now! Something all us girls live for. The only thing I am still big on now is love and life!

I love other dogs...so much I'd really like to have one in my new family. And a playful one I might add. That is how I have been losing all of this weight; running around playing with the other dogs in my foster home ALL the time.

I am house trained and crate-trained but don't go out & buy a crate. I don't need to use one because I am such a well-behaved girl at night I can just snuggle up next to you. And during the day? Don't sweat it; I am an angel when no one’s home.

I am an incredibly friendly outgoing girl. Stranger danger...what's that? I think everyone is my friend! When new people come to the house, I am like a Wal-Mart greeter. I like to meet them at the door to greet them but I don't jump all over them. I love to cuddle in your lap too. I will even scratch at your leg if you don't happen to see me sitting at your feet waiting for you to invite me up.

You have children? Not a problem....I am fabulous with children! I love to run and play with them in the backyard, fetching anything they fell they want to throw.

Did I mention that I am very smart & pretty obedient? I know Sit, Down, Come and Stay. I am working on Leave it & starting to get it.

My previous family that adopted me in 2007 told BREW I had had a couple of seizures over the last two years, but don’t worry; BREW took me to the vet right away, had some blood work done & the results were great.
