Lucille

11/4 UPDATE: Lucille is a sweet, friendly beagle with a head that resembles a Dachshund.  She has made a lot of progress during her two weeks with us including learning to walk on a leash and becoming friends with the cats.  Lucille eats her food slowly and will growl at the other dogs if they approach her bowl.  She has peed a few times in the house, so we are working on house training.  For the most part, she does everything in the fenced yard.  On the leash, she walks and sniffs, but nothing else.  Lucille keeps her crate clean and has only chewed dog toys.  She sometimes enjoys running with the other beagles in the yard, especially if she catches a scent.  She also enjoys her naps, often choosing to snuggle up to someone, human or canine, for warmth.

Lucille is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female that is fully vetted and ready for a forever home.  She is friendly but a little on the reserved side and is good with other dogs.  She was a stray at the Fluvanna Co. Animal Shelter so her history is unknown.
