I've been adopted!

Age: 4-5 years

Gender: Female

UPDATE: Roo has been with us for almost a month now and it has been quite a journey with her.  She is very shy and when she first came home with us she took a little bit of convincing for her to even come in the house.  Once she warms up to you though she is such a sweetie pie in ever bit of the word.  She loves to be around kids and is completely housetrained.  She is also crate trained, but since she is housetrained we rarely have to crate her.  She doesn't chew anything either except the toys that she is supposed to.  She would do best in a household with another dog, but is not dependent on it.  She is also good with cats.  During Thanksgiving weekend my 1 year old niece came over and she did not shy away from her at all.  If you want a little girl that you can carry around and cuddle with you on your lap while you watch tv or sit on the couch, then she is your girl.  We truly are in love with this girl already and if you give her a chance she will steal your heart in a minute.

Roo, 3-4yr old liver tri-color female, weighs around 18lbs and is fully vetted. She is friendly, good with people and other dogs but was a stray at the Louisa County Animal Shelter so her history is unknown.

I am so happy to see that Roo is now in a foster home. What a great update about her. She is such a pretty little beagle gal. Thank you to the person who took Roo home to foster. Sounds like she is ready for her “furever” home.
