UPDATE - 6 FEBRUARY 2018: Priceless (or Rikki as she is known in her foster home) is a young lady eager to join a mutual admiration society. She is dainty (you should hear her sipping water from the bowl!) and eager to please. When we clap or shout at the resident beagles, Rikki has a meltdown and hides her face in the couch. Rikki considers herself an adventuress and loves to walk and walk; the rest of the pack has moved far off while Rikki carefully sniffs her surroundings. We learned that she loves to climb. She gets along well with the other dogs but is quite independent so she might be good as an only dog. Rikki has done her business while on the leash but it may be the very first time she has ever done so. Rikki is often hesitant so she will benefit from patience and positive feedback as she gets to learn about you. Rikki enjoyed her bath with little complaint. She seems to hold children in high regard. Rikki will win your heart easily as she revels in sitting in your lap being scratched on the chin and throat. She is truly priceless!
UPDATE - 3 FEBRUARY 2018: Priceless went to a foster home today, so stay tuned as we get to know her better.
INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: This beautiful beagle girl is Priceless. She is spayed and estimated to be 2 years old. She ended up at the Louisa County Animal Shelter in Virginia with an electronic collar on but was never claimed. She’s super sweet, seems to be fairly low key, and is good with other dogs but very sad at the kennels. We believe she was someone’s precious pet at one time. She is now fully vetted and available for fostering or adoption.
