Pupdate 13 November 2015 - Olivia is a sweet little girl. She has come out of her shell since she arrived at our house two weeks ago. She can now climb our stairs and go down them! They were a little scary at first because they are steep. Olivia stays in her crate during the work day and is fine. She ignores the two resident cats. She is just happy to eat her meals, chew on deer antlers and get pets from her humans. Olivia does fine on her walks and even enjoyed a nice hike in the woods last Sunday. She can be startled by loud noises, but she isn’t afraid to walk around in the city. She lets other dogs sniff her and wants other humans to pet her. Olivia is generally calm, but once in a while she gets into a playful mood and wants you to pet her and chase her. She would make a nice companion if you’re looking for a low key gal.
UPDATE - 10 OCTOBER 2015: Olivia is now fully vetted and READY for a foster or forever home!!!
25 SEPTEMBER 2015: Olivia is a 4- to 5-year-old female beagle who will be available soon. She's sweet, friendly, and fairly low key. Olivia was a stray at the Culpeper County, Virginia Animal Shelter, and her history is unknown.
