I've Been Adopted!

NEW - 9 DECEMBER 2018: Muffin is a BREW alum whose family is moving overseas, so she was returned to BREW as this was the best option for her. She is 5 years young, weighs about 30 pounds, and was raised with a young child. According to her previous owners, "Muffin is pretty much a couch potato now. She is very good with people and other dogs. Being friendly is her thing. Her only bad habit is digging into the trash can sometimes. She does bark occasionally when there are things outside of the house.”  Muffin is settling in nicely at her new foster home and can hold herself all day while her foster mom is at work (12 hours). She is a little skittish when meeting new dogs and people; however, she is slowly coming out of her shell. She would do fine as an only dog or part of a pack. If you are looking for a trained beagle, this girl is for you.

  1. Hi- I saw your Facebook post about Muffin. I’d like more information about the process for adopting her. We live about an hour south of Northern Virginia. It sounds like Muffin would be a good fit with our family. Please let me me know how to get more information. Thanks!

Hi Torie – Thank you for your interest in Muffin. We have had several people express an interest, but she is still available, at least for now. To adopt from BREW we need you to read our policies and fill out an application. You can find both at http://www.brewbeagles.org/brew-adoption-process/. Once we receive your application and application fee, we will assign a volunteer who will be able to work with you directly. Even if Muffin gets adopted, we have many beagles who need good homes. Thank you!
