I've Been Adopted!
Age: 2-3 years
UPDATE - 22 JULY 2014: Mistletoe is aptly named as she is a very affectionate dog. Her favorite place to be is snuggled next to the nearest human or dog available. She loves to give kisses and receive belly rubs. She has a lot of energy so will probably do better with an individual or family that is more on the active side. She loves to play, balls are her favorite, but she can be a little shy in new environments. She loves the dog park where she can run around and sniff. She is crate trained and almost completely house trained but still does occasionally have an accident. She is very quiet for a beagle, only barking at normal dog things (people at the door, bunnies in the yard). She gets along very well with kids and with other dogs and may do better in a house with another dog. She is a delight to have in our house and would make a great addition as someone's forever pet.
21 December 2013: Mistletoe is such a sweet girl but inhales her food. She is a little on the thin side so she has missed a few meals. Guess she is taking the advantage of getting a meal. Mistletoe came in with 6-month-old Blue and could possibly be her mother.
8 December 2013: Mistletoe is a 2-3 year-old female beagle. She is super friendly, good with other dogs, and has a gorgeous beagle bay. Mistletoe came into the shelter with Blue as a stray, so her history is unknown. Stay tuned for more information as we get to know her better!
