UPDATE - 25 MARCH 2018 (from her foster mom): Madelyn is a delightful mature girl. She loves getting attention but isn't demanding. Even at this time of year she has found a few opportunities to sun herself outside. Madelyn is generally content napping - and has found many spots to spend her nap time. But she also likes exploring the outdoors - she will probably enjoy it more when it warms up a bit. She does the funniest dance steps when greeting us - I wonder how she doesn't lose her balance. She gets along well with the other dogs in the house - young and old, as well as the cats. Madelyn doesn't gobble her food, is quiet day and night, and is getting the house training. She is 28 pounds.
UPDATE - 10 MARCH 2018: Madelyn went to her new foster home today. She was sweet as can be at the adoption event. She greeted every dog and human she met - her tail never stopped wagging. Stay tuned as we get to know more about Madelyn from her new foster family.
INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: Madelyn is a 10 year old spayed female looking for a loving home to spend the rest of her life. She is friendly, fairly low key, and good with other dogs. She was a stray at Louisa County Animal Shelter in Virginia, so her history is unknown. She will be available soon for fostering or adoption.
