27 DECEMBER 2014: Meet Loki. He is a very low key guy. (See what I did there? Loki/low key.) He's a bit on the chubby side and a lot on the lazy side. He is mostly quiet but can be quite chatty when I get home from work - he likes to tell me about his day - and bossy when I don't get his dinner ready quickly enough. He is totally housetrained and appears to be crate-trained but I don't crate him when I'm gone because he is generally a good boy. He walks well, if slowly, on a leash. (He kind of resembles Eeyore in speed and gait when he walks but his personality is much more Pooh-esque). He is good with older kids (i.e., middle schoolers), but not tested with younger kids. Generally, though, he is calm and friendly with people so I think he would be fine with younger ones. He is good with other dogs as long as they are not high energy and don't jump on him/get in his face. He is a champion snuggler and sleeps with his tongue hanging out a lot. He is a loving companion who deserves an awesome family.
Original info: Loki was adopted in 2004 and was recently returned to BREW by way of a local humane society. We don’t know much about him except that he hasn’t missed any meals lately. He’s thought to be 10 years old and he weighs 42 pounds. Oh, and he’s a kisser! Stay tuned as we get to know Loki better!
