UPDATE - 17 SEPTEMBER 2017: Kate is a laid-back sweetie who can really move out on a hike in the woods. She is house-trained and as quiet as a mouse indoors. Kate is very friendly with other dogs and has never met a dog she disliked, often turning to watch dogs after they walk by her as they enter the horizon with an attitude of "Will you look at that!" She will not be rushed as she has a full-time job of keeping her nose in the daily mail of the grass, and Kate dislikes going up and down stairs. The vet said she weighs about 30 pounds and Kate did not appreciate hearing that she needs to lose some weight. Kate likes to play with toys and to ignore cats and she finds children acceptable.
First impressions: Kate is a 4-year-old spayed female that is fully vetted and looking for her forever home. She came from a hunter who gave her up because he was was no longer able to care for her. She is super sweet, great with people of all ages and dogs alike, but do not be in a hurry when walking her because she's slow and has her nose to the ground!
