UPDATE - 21 JANUARY 2019: JoBeth joined us at the adoption event, and she was wonderful! She loved every human she met, and she did great with the other dogs. Based on her good behavior, including sitting on command (sometimes), we think she may have lived in a house before, so our kennel manager brought her into her own home to see how she would do. Here is what she says: "Brought her home today and she clearly has been in a house. Came up the stairs with no problem. Went upstairs investigating on her own. Came in through the doggie door on her own, but she has not gone out yet. Had no issues with my dogs. Made herself comfortable on my sofa."
UPDATE - 14 DECEMBER 2018: JoBeth has completed her vetting and is now available for fostering or adoption. She weighs 24.5 pounds.
NEW - 5 DECEMBER 2018: JoBeth is a beautiful 3-year-old beagle girl who is friendly and good with other dogs most of the time, but can be a little alpha. She was a stray in Abingdon, Virginia, so her history is unknown. She will be available soon after her vetting is completed.
