I've been adopted!

Age: 2 years

Gender: Male

Graham is a real sweetheart.  He came home from adoption day with me on Saturday and was a little overwhelmed at his change in circumstances.  He started out nervous about coming inside the house – running up to the deck when called and then stopping a few feet from the door and dropping into a low crawl and stopping in his tracks.  But this morning he made the leap to coming in on his own.  Graham will come to me for pets, but will retreat if foster brother Rico tries to join in the fun.  Rico is a bit exuberant, and Graham isn’t quite ready for that yet.  He loves exploring the yard and has already claimed a favorite napping spot.  Graham was quiet overnight in the kennel, has done his business outside, and does not gobble his food.

Graham is a 2yr old neuterd male beagle.  He is friendly and playful, good with other dogs but was a stray at Louisa Co. Animals Shelter so his history is unknown.

Hi Graham’s Foster Mom (and Family) –

Our family has been watching day to day to make sure Graham is still in the mix. We have been approved and are trying to get in touch with our Adoption Counselor. But we are in eager to have our beagle home – and we hope its Graham! He was so sweet at adoption day and seems to be fun enough to hang with our large crew! I can see he’s been overshadowed a bit by Rico – who we also met – and I can see why! Rico owns the room 🙂 But we saw Graham just needs a little spotlight of his own – and he’ll get it here – with 3 girls who are ready to adore him, and a new mommy and daddy who think the more the merrier! Hope to have you home by the holidays! We’ve already gotten you a stocking…
