I've Been Adopted!

UPDATE - 6 DECEMBER 2015: Goober has only been with us for 2 weeks and he is making fast progress. He was very skittish and shy at first but he is already coming out of his shell!

He travels well in the car. He doesn't bark very much, and best of all - he keeps his crate clean. There haven't been any accidents after the first couple days, so Goober is well on his way to being house trained!

Goober is very affectionate and eager to please. He likes to curl up next to me on the sofa and have his big soft ears scratched. He also gets along perfectly with our 2 dogs. He respects our senior dog and stays out of her way, and he also has great fun playing with our younger dog. Goober has a very sweet personality. He was surprisingly social when we walked him in the park.

At Thanksgiving he was naturally very curious about food on the table but we corrected him when he got too close. This didn't stop Goober from walking upright on his two hind legs to get a better view. He does this goofy walk on a regular basis now, and it's a pretty comical sight!

Goober is a sweetheart. He let me take pictures of him wearing the Grinch's reindeer antlers. My other dogs were not as cooperative, so his shots came out the best.

We think Goober would be great with kids and we already know he is great with other dogs. He will make a perfect family pet and companion when he finally finds his forever home!

10 OCTOBER 2015: Goober is now fully vetted and READY for a foster or forever home!!!

24 SEPTEMBER 2015: Goober is a 2-year-old male beagle who was a stray taken in by a hunter. Unfortunately, he wasn't very good at competing for his food, so he was given up again. Goober is  friendly, good with other dogs, and will be available soon!

Hi – Goober is currently in a kennel awaiting a foster home. We will know more about his personality and training once he is fostered. Thank you for your interest, and please consider filling out an adoption application!
