I'm Staying with my Foster Family!

6 APRIL 2015: Espresso had a rough start in life and has had some developmental delays and other health issues. After consulting with a neurologist, it has been decided that he will stay with his foster family. Thank you to this wonderful family for going above and beyond for so many of BREW's puppies and for taking in little Espresso!

18 FEBRUARY 2015: Espresso is one of Latte's three puppies. He and his sisters, Cappuccino and Breve, were born on January 26th, and they will stay with mom until they are weaned. Espresso is much smaller than his sisters, but thanks to a lot of TLC first from a stellar vet tech and now from his wonderful foster mom, he is growing well!

  1. Just curious to see how Espresso is doing. Special needs beagles always touch our hearts?

Thanks for checking up on Espresso. He is doing great. He has several disabilities but is staying with his foster family, where he is a happy boy and very loved. He will have the care he needs for the rest of his life.

  2. I am interested in Espresso. How old would he be if we got him/ picked him up the weekend of the 4th of April? Is he still available? We are looking for a good family dog.

Hi, Lauren – Espresso was born on January 26th. BREW requires all dogs be spayed/neutered prior to adoption, and due to Espresso’s small size, it may be a while before he is able to leave his foster home. We also have several other young puppies and some older pups (6-9 months) that may be of interest. The older the puppy, the more we will know about personality, particularly for dogs in foster homes. The application process, including interview and home check, can take several weeks depending on volunteer availability. Thank you for your interest!
