I've Been Adopted!

UPDATE - 23 APRIL 2016: Hello, my name is Duke and my foster mom says my name fits me to a "T."  Dukes are distinguished older gentlemen that have that walk that says I'm a leader and deserve respect.  I get along with my foster siblings, but I can also be a solitary guy too who will follow you around.  I love to go in and out through the doggy door into the fenced backyard.  I sleep all night long on the bed and love to curl up on the couch.  The vet says I have a heart murmur, but my foster mom says that's okay as she has lived with hers for decades with no issues.  Don't let my age discourage you from meeting me, I love running and playing!  So, the only question remains, "Are you worthy of the Duke?"

Original info: Duke is a 7 - 8 year old neutered male beagle.  He has lovely liver tri-color markings. He was an owner surrender to Madison County Animal Shelter when his owners lost their home. He's been an inside pup all of his life and was very spoiled.

  1. hello i have one question, does Duke go well with cats?

    • LindaC

Duke has not been cat tested.

    • My parents were his owners before, they had cats and he did well with them.
