UPDATE - 2 MAY 2018: Diesel is now fully accustomed to indoor life. He has mastered the stairs and is house-trained. He is extremely friendly and pushes to the front of the line for pets and affection. He is very social and enjoys the company of our other dogs. His preference is to snuggle in the same dog bed with our smaller dog and really enjoys palling around with them. With as social as he is he would ideally go to a home with other dogs.
UPDATE - 17 FEBRUARY 2018: Diesel came to his third adoption day today, and he still wasn't adopted! We can't believe no one has snatched up this very friendly, loving, beautiful boy. Diesel was the perfect gentleman today and very well behaved. He loves people and loved the attention. Diesel's foster mom says great things to say about him, so we are hoping he will find his furever family soon!
UPDATE - 18 DECEMBER 2017: Diesel is now in a foster home. According to his new foster mom, he is sweet and super friendly. He is fine with the cats –he gave one of the resident cats a good sniffing, and that was that. The other cat, who is a little more persnickety, gave Diesel a smack or 2, so Diesel now just stays away from him. Diesel is already mastering the stairs (he must be smart as it only took a day!) but isn’t house trained. Diesel's foster mom knows they have some work to do on that one, but they will get there.
INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: Diesel is a 3-year-old male beagle who came in with Buzz. He is friendly and good with other dogs. He was a stray from Madison County in Virginia, so his history is unknown. He is now fully vetted and available for fostering or adoption.
