UPDATE - 29 JULY 2018: Colt has finished his vetting and is now settling in at his new foster home. Here is what his foster mom has to say about him: When I brought Colt home yesterday I wasn’t sure want to expect since he had been living outdoors, but he is a delight to have around. After being greeted by the four resident dogs and a couple of the cats, Colt set about inspecting his new home. He then spent a quiet night by himself in the kennel and was happy to see us this morning. Whenever he gets the opportunity Colt will give kisses – I’ve tried taking pictures of him while sitting on the ground, but he will get in my lap and give me kisses instead of posing for me. He loves running around the yard and has made no moves toward trying to escape into the woods that border my yard (one of my worries due to his former outdoor living style). He is just thoroughly enjoying life! Colt weighs in at only 15 pounds.
NEW - 22 JULY 2018: Colt is a stray from Harrisonburg, Virginia, who is about 2 years old and small (under 20 pounds). Colt was was living outdoors and was being helped by a caring family who called BREW to come rescue him. He will be available after he is vetted.
