Coco the wonder beagle made her way to the Rainbow Bridge after eating a hearty snack of whipped cream and cheerios this morning. Although Coco lived with us for only six short months, she made an indelible mark on our hearts. With the soul of an adventuress, Coco delighted in smelling the tires of our cars with their exotic scents of Herndon and Quantico. She was a steadfast mother figure to all our foster dogs, particularly the little boys, plumping up their pillows in the crate then pushing them inside with her nose. She was devoted to her dad and will be sorely missed. Coco taught us not to be afraid to let a dog into our lives just because they dont have much time left.

  1. My dear, sweet Buddy (aka Aramis) crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on November 12, 2018. I am devastated. I adopted my sweet boy on September 10, 2017 and he developed an aggressive form of cancer 2 months ago. Even though my Buddy was only with us for 14 months, he made my life, my cat Ellie’s life and my other dog Sophie’s life so very happy and gave us a lot of love and I loved and still love him. I cry every day, I miss him so very much!!!

Hi Margie – We are so very sorry to hear about Buddy. It doesn’t matter if we have our beagles for 14 months or 14 years, they become a very special part of our families and hearts that first time they wag their tails or snuggle up to us. It hurts deeply to lose them. Please know that we grieve with you and the rest of your furry family. Thank you for giving Buddy a wonderful home for the last couple of years of his precious life.
