This little tiny beagle/basset mix weighs in at just 20lbs! She’s super nice, mellow, and quiet. She’s been tested with cats and passed!
She was saved by a wonderful group in WV when a shelter up there decided it was euthanizing ALL the animals because the caregiver of the shelter was tired of caring for them. Clementine is one lucky dog! Make her lucky twice over by giving her the home she deserves!

If she still needs a foster home by then, I think I could foster her, but not until around Feb. 13.
I am going out of town the weekend of Feb. 11-12.
I miss my Maddie so much, and so does Buddy. Maybe we can help out long enough to get this little Clementine placed in a forever home.
You mentioned that Clementine is a quiet little dog, do we know if she barks a lot? I want to adopt a Beagle, but she has to be one that barks very little because I have a neighbor that’s a day-time sleeper because of night work.

We have your application and I’ve assigned it to a BREW rep. I believe Clementine is moving in to a foster home this weekend.
Do you know how she is with children? We are looking to adopt a beagle and have submitted our application but unfortunately the 2 that we were originally looking at have been adopted.
Clementine looks super sweet but we have 3 small children. Would love more information about her if you have it!
Heather, I don’t think Beaker’s in a home with children so we can’t speak to his tolerance of them. I can tell you that he’s likely never seen a child before.

has clementine been adopted…. and where are you located?? she is just beautiful! just don’t see the basset in her?? does she have a longer body than a beagle?? the photos don’t seem to show that side of her .
Susan, Clementine is not in foster care yet. I believe, though, that she’s coming to the adoption event in Alexandria, VA this Saturday. You can check her page to confirm her attendance. We don’t have a facility so all of our adoptions happen via adoption events or from foster homes. If you’d like to be approved for a beagle, please submit an adoption application on our website.
