I've Been Adopted!

UPDATE - 20 OCTOBER 2016: It's Beagle Mania at Caramel's foster house and she fits right in. She is a sweet girl who loves her foster brothers. She follows the unwritten rules of the pack - very playful but gives them their space when they need it and she patiently waits in line to be fed. She's cat friendly but don't accidentally drop the leash with this one when there are other furry animals around like squirrels and rabbits. She enjoys the dog park and is happy to play with others or to just explore on her own.  She has a a really cute aroo. She hasn't quite made the connection yet between walks and potty so our walks can seem very long. She does go in the fenced in back yard but we still experience accidents occasionally in the house. She's a smart girl though so we're confident this can be corrected.

UPDATE - 8 OCTOBER 2016: Caramel has moved to a foster home and is settling in. Stay tuned while her foster home gets to know her better!

8 SEPTEMBER 2016: Caramel is now fully vetted and ready for her foster or forever home!

Caramel is a 3- to 4-year-old, fairly small female that is friendly and good with other dogs. She was a stray at the Amelia County Animal Shelter in Virginia, and her history is unknown.  Caramel will be available soon!

She wasn’t at BeagleFest today. How can I arrange to meet her?
    Cheers,

Hi – Applicants are able to arrange to meet with beagles outside of events. If you haven’t already applied, I would suggest you fill out an application (details on the process are HERE). If you have already applied, you can work with your adoption volunteer to get in touch with Caramel’s foster home. Thanks for your interest!

  2. Maybe some better pictures of Caramel would help prospective adopters. Can hardly see him in this only picture.

Hi, Willie’s Mom – Caramel has recently moved to a foster home, and we hope to have updated photos soon.
