UPDATE - 26 AUGUST 2018 (from Bitty's new foster mom): Bittys is an easygoing and happy little girl. She adapted quickly to her foster home - her tail has been up and wagging except when she is napping. She gets along well with the resident dogs and the cats are happy that she has no interest in them. Bittys does like a good conversation! The only time she has barked is when we're talking to her. And check out her smile in a couple of the pictures - so adorable. Bittys is food motivated and does eat fast, but she isn't food aggressive. Although I haven't yet walked her (she is only on day two with me), when I went to put a collar on her yesterday morning she got very excited and ran to the door. Poor girl, I think she was expecting a walk. (UPDATE: Speaking of walks, she loves them and does well on a leash!)
NEW - 24 AUGUST 2018: Bittys came to BREW as an owner give up from Fredericksburg, VA, because her owner needed to focus on her sick mother. She was concerned that Bittys was not getting the care and attention she needed and deserved. Bittys is 8 years old and weighs about 24 pounds. She comes to BREW fully vetted, but we are having our vet take a look at her to make sure she is ready for adoption. We already have a foster home set up for her, so we should learn more about her soon.
