I'm being adopted!

Gender: Female

Age: 8

Bella is like a little couch potato. She’s so content to sleep in her crate or lay out in the yard in the sun. Just give her a chew toy with some food in it and she’ll be content for hours.

She’s definitely the leader - a great protector – she’ll bark the minute she sees or smells something she doesn’t recognize.
She even “patrols” the fence when she’s outside playing with Luna.

She’s also good with children, even if they’re not always gentle with her. It doesn’t seem to phase her one bit.

She’s a very loyal dog and loves to cuddle next to you and have her belly rubbed. She’s a little bit of a princess – she doesn’t like to be outside if it has rained because the ground is still wet and she’ll bark and scratch at the door until you let her in.

She likes the company of other dogs. But she is definitely the alpha, so putting her with another alpha wouldn’t be a good idea. She would also do fine if she were the only dog in the house. She definitely doesn’t like cats. She is crate trained and never has accidents in her crate. She will also go to the bathroom on a leash. Even though she’ll
bark at strangers, she’s also shy.

Bella sounds just like my 2 year old, Chrissy Lynn. They could be two peas in a pod, except for the Alpha issue! I hope Bella Boo gets the perfect home where she’ll eventually learn not to cower. Chrissy still jumps if you touch her unexpectedly, but she’s made so much progress that being startled is the very last sign of unkindness. Love and hugs to Bella!!!! And her friend, Luna. : )
