I've Been Adopted!

Age: 1-2 years

Gender: Female

Belinda is red and white and 14.5 pounds. She will look much better when she gets up to 17 or so. She is very outgoing and wants to interact with all people and dogs. She was housed with Harriet and another dog at her temporary foster home and they even ate from the same bowl. They came to BREW from Halifax County Virginia. Both girls walk well on lead and do their potty business on lead.

They traveled, uncrated, for 5 1/2 hours to get to the vet and left the seat clean and dry. Mostly they just cuddled up together and slept. No whining, no barking.

I was wondering if you got my application for Belinda. I did it last weekend? How is she doing?

How much time does Belinda need to recup from surgery? I live in NY, how would I get her if interested? I have 2 other Beagles ages 2 and 6, how would she get along with them? Is she house, crate and lesh trained? How tall is she because my older dog is 15″ and she is afraid of bigger dogs?

So, why is she up for fostering versus adopting?

    • Laura w/ BREW

Susan, Belinda has a diaphragmatic hernia that will require surgery next week. So, she needs a foster home where she can recover before being adopted. Please let us know if you’re interested in fostering. Thanks!

Did you find a foster home for Belinda? When is her surgery?
