Update - 13 November 2017: From Ava's new foster family: This is Day 3 with us. Ava has been doing really well... she is such a doll! So far only one accident in the house, but that was right after she was dropped off, so I think mostly nerves. She LOVES to cuddle and would be a great lap dog. She gets along really well with my dog. She is very vocal when anxious, but once she is calmed down she is fine. She does need some leash training. She seems to love long naps and she does well in the crate... sleeping through the night... no whining or howling in the crate. She is very laid back and loving 🙂
Original Post: Ava is a 5-year-old spayed beagle who is fully vetted and available for adoption. She is friendly and good with other dogs, but she was a stray from Madison County Animal Shelter in Virginia, so her history is unknown.
